Why the Name Dogwood Travel Designs?
Who knew naming a business would be harder than naming our children! We wanted something that had an iconic image, was easy to remember and spell, had meaning, would come up on the first page of a Google search and wasn’t already being used. It was not easy!
But why a dogwood? Besides it being my favorite spring flower, it also has Christian symbolism of rebirth and resurrection; of purity and strength. As we serve our clients and others in the travel industry, we want to be a reflection of Christ’s love for the world.
Why incorporate “designs” into the business name? Unlike travel agencies of days gone by, we do not simply take a customer’s order. Similar to an interior designer or a landscape artists, we listen carefully to our clients dreams before using our expertise and industry connections to craft something extraordinary.
